Ten delegates from the 8th grade – Alcide Collin, Lucas Daugy, Nour El Keraby, Ines Jiminez Alvarez, Kai Xin Loo, Marion Ryard, Mia Schaeffer, Erwyna Soo, Leopoldine Verhaegen Coutte and Anaelle Wiquart – participated in the 16th annual MYMUN (Model United Nations) conference held at Mont Kiara International School from the 12th to 14th April 2019.

Over a course of three days, our delegates enthusiastically debated over several matters of international concern such as the melting permafrost and rising CO2 levels, women’s representation in finance, youth unemployment, the situation in Yemen, and measures to restrict the use of conventional weapons, among others. They all worked diligently to speak for the interests of the country they represented while doing their best to be empathetic. Alcide Collin from 4eA won an award for his improvement as delegate in the Disarmament Committee.
